    Couple Suitable Experience

Spent a restorative week while my partner was in the hospital. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and modern with all the amenities you need, including a fridge with fresh milk.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive , but it was worth it for the comforts provided.

My partner and I enjoyed being there. The room was clean and immaculate with a comfy bed and shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath sheets in the bathroom. Location: the hotel was near to Durham.

    No negatives from this place.

The Beautiful King Room I stayed in had a modern vibe and was pretty spacious. The double-glazed windows did a decent job of keeping road noise at bay, ensuring quality sleep despite being near the busy cross roads.

But a few hiccups cropped up-first off, it was annoying to find the bar closed until November, which could've been noted on their website. A glaring security light cast some unwelcome brightness into the room at night was good, even though the overall comfort of the room was excellent. And while I appreciated being able to stand outside my room prior to check-in, there was no one around until the official time to help drop off bags.

    bar closure
    security light

Upon arrival, was horrified to find the bar closed, which surely could have been mentioned beforehand. My 'beautiful' room was lit up by a glaring security light. It was shocking that no complimentary gesture was offered for these inconveniences. I almost wrote a decent review, but i just couldn't.

    closed bar
    road noise
    thick curtains

Staying in the Beautiful Double Room with Shower was a treat, particularly appreciating the fresh milk in the fridge and the powerful hot shower. The closed bar could have been highlighted on the site, and we faced a minor inconvenience with road noise resembling a faint hum at night. The immediate area is lively, as a bus stop is conveniently located nearby, but it could benefit from thicker curtains for better comfort.

Barry's warm hospitality and the pristine, modern rooms. The mini snack bar is a thoughtful addition. A bit of road noise could be heard, but it didn’t hinder my sleep.

Cozy and Cute Stay with Unique Touches

Breakfast was nicely tailored by the owner, Barry, who modified it each day to suit my preferences, complete with fresh fruit and snacks. I also appreciated the cleanliness and warmth of the space. A security light outside the room was a bit intrusive at night.

Staying at The Crossroads Inn was an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The newly modernized rooms were mind-blowing, with all the amenities you could ever need, including a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. The comfortable bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the powerful hot shower was pure bliss. The location was super convenient, with free parking and easy access to the city. We loved the continental breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options, including cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Plus, the owner's attention to detail was jaw-dropping, with little touches like in-room snacks and a selection of tea and coffee. We were also grateful for the free Wi-Fi, which allowed us to stay connected throughout our stay. our experience at The Crossroads Inn was absolutely amazing, and we can't wait to come back again. Such great value for money!
